Mask

The Persona as an object the dreamer can put down, which is exactly what makes it worth noticing: in waking life it is rarely that separable.

Where the reading comes from

Persona is the Latin word for the mask a stage actor spoke through, and Jung took the term without changing its meaning much.

Whose face was on it, and could you take it off? Did anyone know it was a mask.
