The Unfamiliar Room
Finding rooms in a house the dreamer thought they knew: territory of their own that had not been entered, described as the foreign departments of the intrapsychic world.
Where the reading comes from
Jung used his own dream of a house whose lower floors were older than its upper ones as the working image for the layered psyche, and the discovered room is the domestic form of it.
What was in the room, and how did you feel about finding it? Neglect, delight and dread are all common and they are not the same reading.
