What the tradition holds

Read as making: the web you build, and the patience to wait in it. In West African and diaspora tradition Anansi is a spider and the keeper of stories.

Where that reading came from

Orb weavers rebuild a web most nights, eating the old silk. The making is continuous, which is the part the symbol usually leaves out.
